Course standard:

AI may assist with the work, but a person remains responsible for the decision, the quality and the final result.

Confirm that your working environment is ready.

Complete each item before moving forward. Account, browser and access problems should be resolved before the hands-on modules begin.

Use the data traffic-light rule.

Before entering information into an AI tool, classify the data and confirm that the account and task are approved.

Green data

Public, non-sensitive or organization-approved information that may be used for the task.

Yellow data

Internal information that may require sanitization, limited access or explicit approval.

Red data

Confidential, regulated, privileged, credential, financial, security-sensitive or prohibited information.

1. A public job description is being summarized for an approved internal planning exercise.

How should the information be classified?

2. Draft internal notes include employee names and performance concerns.

What is the safest starting decision?

3. A prompt would require a password, API key or account-recovery code.

What should you do?

4. You cannot determine whether the organization has approved the tool or the data.

What is the correct next action?

5. An AI response includes a polished factual claim and a citation.

What remains necessary?

Record your starting point.

Rate your current confidence from 1 to 5. This is not a test. It gives you a baseline for measuring growth after the course.

See how the readiness score is calculated.

The score updates as you work. Each dimension contributes up to 25 points.
